An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join a company working at the cutting edge of the rapidly expanding UK wind energy market to develop, produce and market multi-megawatt wind turbines.

As Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert electrical support to the sales, project management and service departments to ensure all electrical requirements are met and projects are delivered. A commercially aware all-rounder, you’ll review technical documents from contractors/customers and ensure compliance. You will also manage the company’s grid connections and act as a centre for electrical knowledge. With strong technical ability, you will draft and cost electrical engineering solutions during tender and negotiation stages and assist in managing build on site during commissioning. Ideally qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline, you will have experience of managing subcontractors and be highly IT literate (Word, Excel and MS Project). Ideally, you will have wide-ranging electrical knowledge and skills in high voltage engineering, control engineering, data acquisition (SCADA) and telecommunications.
