PRINCIPAL/SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER (POWER GENERATION)
ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY
GLASGOW

An opportunity has arisen for a Principal/Senior Process Engineer to join the rapidly expanding power generation team of one of the largest providers of energy consultancy and engineering support services in the UK.

With over four decades of experience, this is a company that has built a reputation for delivering innovative, cost effective business and engineering solutions to owners, operators and suppliers to nuclear and conventional power sites.

As part of their team focusing on power generation, you would be involved in conventional, nuclear or renewable generation projects and you would be required to undertake project management, engineering design and computer simulation modelling.

In particular, you would be responsible for liaison with clients and the leadership of projects and project teams. You would also be required to carry out feasibility and conceptual design studies and site survey and inspection activities. In addition, you would be responsible for analysis and design, specification writing, trouble shooting and problem-solving and technical due-diligence advice.

Qualified to degree level in chemical engineering and working towards chartered status, ideally you will have previous experience gained within the power, energy or nuclear industries. Consultancy/contracting experience in design, installation, commissioning, operating and maintenance of process plant equipment would be an advantage..

Please note that due to the nature of the work, candidates will need to meet certain nationality and residency criteria to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance.
