Description

Due to continued growth opportunities now exist for Principal Structural and Structural Engineers to join this Oil and Gas team based in their Epsom office in Surrey. As one of the world's largest global design consultancies their Oil and Gas Division is a leading independent supplier of engineering and specialist services to the Energy industry and have been providing solutions to the sector since 1975. They provide services across a wide range of disciplines and applications covering fixed and floating offshore structures, terminals, refineries, petrochemical plants and pipelines.

Principal Structural Engineer - You will have a good engineering degree in civil, mechanical, structural, naval architecture or similar, be of Chartered Engineer status with offshore structural analysis and design experience (jackets and topsides) and
knowledge of offshore analysis packages (such as SACS, ASAS, USFOS and ABAQUS).

You should also have a sufficient and appropriate level of offshore structural design experience including designing for fabrication, sound understanding of project management methods, computer literacy with knowledge or experience of Microsoft Office, a good command of the English language and the ability to prepare written reports and good presentation skills and able to interface with clients.

Structural Engineer - You will possess a good engineering degree and be of Chartered Engineer status or approaching Chartered status in a recognised engineering institution. You should have offshore/marine structural analysis and design experience and some experience with FEA packages (ideally SACS, ASAS, USFOS or ABAQUS).
