We now seeking a Civil Engineer to join the team based at the Godalming office to take on technical assistance and project management roles.

As Civil Engineer your duties will include feasibility studies and conceptual design through to the preparation of technical specifications and tender documents. You will also be involved in all aspects of technical management including design audit and factory inspection of contractor designs through to program and construction management.

Qualified to degree level in Civil Engineering, you will ideally be Chartered or working towards Chartered Status. You should have proven technical or project management capability associated with transmission substation Civil Engineering. Ideally your experience will have be from a project delivery environment within a Transmission Utility, Consultancy or major Contracting Environment.

You must have proven understanding of UK CDM Regulations and a working knowledge of National Grid standards would be an advantage. Exceptional candidates holding HNC/HND qualifications and proven experience will be considered.
