Mechanical Engineers are now required to join our client’s multi-disciplinary Engineering team, which provides a service to a major Power Station in South Western Australia. Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, the primary areas of responsibility of the Mechanical Engineers in the group are Large Rotating Equipment (turbines and pumps), boilers and balance of plant systems including fans, heat exchangers, piping and pressure vessels for instance.

The Power Station is located 240km south of Perth and 80km inland from Bunbury. The Power Station consists of four thermal units totalling 854MW, and several other units are currently being recommissioned.

Successful applicants will have a degree qualification or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with maintenance based experience within power generation, processing or heavy industry. Experience in thermal power generating stations will also be well regarded.
