First class career opportunity for you to join a high performance engineering company, which specialises in the development of advanced composite components and precision machined components for a range of high technology industries. This company is situated in Oxfordshire, which is ideal for serving aerospace, motorsport, marine, subsea, and other industries worldwide.
As part of continued expansion, your role as Facilities Manager will be to ensure that the companys Business Plan is supported by the appropriate facilities and that those facilities are kept in a good state of repair. You will keep site & layout plans/records of the business up to date and maintain records of adjustments/maintenance to the fabric of the buildings, utilities and plant & equipment on the Shire system. You will operate within all legal HASAW and Environmental requirements & organise facilities activities in a manner which complies with the companys quality systems. You will ensure that any contractors carrying out work at any of the companys sites have completed all appropriate HASAW assessments and provide copies of the same for company records. (eg. Risk Assessments & Method statements). You will plan for the maintenance & repair of any facility in order to avoid / minimise disruption to customer service and organise maintenance schedules/contracts for those facilities that can not be accommodated by in house resource.
You will be required to support the Engineering & Production teams with TPM data, advice & training to facilitate high levels of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) together with recommend expenditure for the repair, upgrading or replacement of facilities as appropriate. You will also ensure that risk assessments are completed for all plant & equipment and project manage the installation of Plant & Equipment including commissioning is to specification, producing TPM documentation and providing input for training instructions for use in the SOPs.
Qualified to HNC or above or with equivalent experience, you will have relevant experience in Facilities Management.
