Maxymiser Overview:
Maxymiser is an exciting company that is revolutionising the online market and providing the next level in website design and content intelligence through webpage content testing, segmentation and behavioural targeting.
Maxymiser optimises web pages through testing different variants of content, live to visitors, to find the best combinations to convert visitors. This not only takes the guesswork out of webpage design by putting statistical reliance as a backbone, it also enables websites to significantly increase conversion rates, raising revenue, profits and ROI while lowering CPA.
Maxymiser is a dynamic, growing company with great individuals backing and building it:
- Max Polyakov (Non Exec Director): an online pioneer founded HitDynamics and sold it to Hitwise in 2006.
- Bill Dobbie (Executive Chairman & Managing Director): Founded Iomart, which he floated in 2000. Now an experienced entrepreneur and director specialising in internet, telecoms and technology businesses.
- Mark Simpson (Managing Director): 9 years internet experience. Previously responsible for Business Development, Search and PPC at Travelport (ebookers & OctopusTravel), after being one of the first employees in Hitwise, building it into a leading provider of internet intelligence.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that has proven itself in the UK and now has the opportunity to extend its market leading position to Europe.
Purpose of the Role:
To drive Maxymiser’s rapid growth through Europe (excluding the UK) through sales of the Maxymiser suite of products and services. The individual will be given the opportunity to be one of the first members of a dynamic team focussed on winning and retaining business.
Responsibilities and Targets:
- P&L responsibility for Maxymiser’s European expansion
- Build the European team to achieve sales and budget targets.
- Identify potential clients for Maxymiser, present, negotiate and close deals.
- Develop a sales pipeline to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales and revenue goals.
- Produce sales and pipeline reports.
- Produce proposals and other supporting documentation (with the help of other team members where applicable).
- Contribute to the development of the Maxymiser product.
- Co-ordinate with teams in London, Edinburgh and Ukraine where necessary.
- Travel required.
Requirements:
- Experienced Sales / New Business / Managing Director with European focus
- Experience of, or potential to man-manage and build a strong team.
- Speaks at least one other foreign language (basic / working knowledge as a minimum).
- High energy, go getting attitude, takes responsibility.
- Thrives in a high pressure, results orientated environment.
- Experience in the online market.
- Ability to consultatively sell through understanding of prospects’ goals and objectives.
- Entrepreneurial attitude, flexible and adaptable.
- Positive and self motivated.
- Team worker.
- Numerical ability.
- Competency in PowerPoint, MS word, Excel, Outlook.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
